What is Maruja’s Caffe Mocha?
It’s a
mixture of 1tsp Nescafe instant coffee,milk, 1 tsp Milo chocolate drink, 1
tsp white sugar dissolved in five ounce  water, served in a cappuccino
mug or glass. Add Hershey syrup to taste.

i had a girl-bonding with my little keziah this afternoon. they don’t have classes today kasi report card distribution nila and parents consultation na rin. kinontrata na nya ako last nite that she will go with me daw pag kinuha ko report card nya. hmmmnnn…kabisado ko na ang mga ganung klaseng hirit sa akin ng mga bagets ko. may ibang agenda kaya gusto sumama. hahaha! i should know - am their mom. i realized its been a while that i haven’t out with her so hinayaan ko na ang paglalambing. she got good grades naman and got high remarks in her attitude so i think she deserve an afternoon treat from me. mabait talaga baby girl ko and mind u she’s still the most behaved and most punctual pupil in her class - consistent yan. together we ate at zoey cafe then pumunta kami sa stationery store. we picked some colored glue glitters, wax papers, ribbons, and cords for her scrapbooking.

Frankly, am not a big fan of boxing but i admit - i adore Manny Pacquiao. Really proud of this guy.

Today, he is off bound to San Jose, CA. He will be driving one and half hour from his place to take the next step in following his dreams which is taking into shape lately. As of this writing baka nasa daan pa sya papunta dun (sana wag sya mag overspeeding na naman).  Even he’s just away for a day… na MISS ko na agad sya. Im in high hopes that things will turn favorable to him after the exams. He told me that its been his dream to be in the military – kaya ano pa nga ba ang magiging wish mo sa hunny pie mo kundi sana nga mangyari ang mga pangarap niya. Yuck, sounds korni ba? Well di naman masama mangarap, di ba? But nothing is really sure yet. Malamang marami pa rin magbabago. Pero ang sarap isipin na parang mas nagiging exciting mga araw namin dalawa dahil sa magagandang nangyayari lately. I wanna take a bow to the BIG GUY up there in heaven for not forsaking us. In between my routinary house chores, i’m trying hard to comprehend deeply kung ano nga ba tong nangyayari sa amin. Masaya kami siempre.

Indeed, bilog ang mundo.  Sabi nga, Life is the greatest roller coaster ride we will ever take. The ups and downs, the unexpected changes, the twists and turns, are all a part of living. The roller coaster ride of life can be miserable tsaka uncomfortable or exciting and rewarding. Nasa atin na lang talaga kung pano natin sasakyan ang takbo ng buhay. Our states of mind and body are key factors in how we handle these changes. Palagi ko sinasabi that life is not ideal. The problems of life do not go away magically. A   good woman
knows God. She knows that with God the world is her playground, but without God
she will just be played with.

A good woman is proud. She respects herself and others.
She is aware of  who she is. She neither seeks definition from the person
she is with, nor does she expect them to read her mind. She is quite capable of
articulating her needs.

A  good woman is hopeful. She is  strong enough to make  all her  dreams come true. She  knows love, therefore  she gives love.  She  recognizes that her  love has great  value and must be  reciprocated.  If her  love is  taken  for granted, it soon  disappears.A  good woman has  a dash of inspiration  and a dabble  of  endurance.

She
knows that she will at times have to inspire others to reach the
potential God gave them. A good woman knows her past, understands her present
and forces toward the future.
 
A good woman does not live in fear of the future
because of her past. Instead, she understands that her life experiences are
merely lessons meant to bring her closer to self-knowledge and unconditional
self-love… 

…went out kanina when I
received a text from Helen advising me to pick up the current issue of my
magazines. As usual, it create me a different kind of adrenalin rush as im on my way to the city’s popular newstand.
Then medyo naramdaman ko
na nagrereklamo ang bulate ko sa tyan (read: nagutom) kaya dumaan na rin
ako sa Zoey Café – while sitting there waiting for my usual order of the café’s
creamy pasta carbonara and iced tea I realized that sobrang na-miss ko na pala
ang pumunta sa fave coffee shop ko. The place doesn’t have the state-of-the-art
ambiance, nevertheless, it always bring me an out of the ordinary kind of mood when I’m seated there. I can park
myself there for hours just flipping/reading over the pages of the glossy magazines (theirs or mine)
without minding the going in-out of the customers and less the worry na baka
sitahin ako sa tagal ng pagka upo ko dun. lolz! It’s my comfort zone.
For a time, I
