It takes more than blood to be a dad.
Oh this is surely a proven fact.
I’ve seen men give his heart to a child …
Never once think of taking it back.

A Dad is the one who is always there;
He protects a child from all harm.
He gives a child the assurance that he
will be their anchor in any storm.

A real Dad is a man that teaches his child
all the things in life he needs to know.
He’s the tower of strength a child leans on.
The source of love that helps them grow.

There are men that children call Daddy.

Hun, thanks for being patient with me during difficult time. Thanks for being yourself when I wasn’t myself. For liking me when I wasn’t very likeable, for being understanding when I was hard to understand… and thanks for caring when I must have seemed careless with our relationship. I guess we all have rough times in our lives.

…i mastered the art of scrimping every centavo on the meager budget i earn from selling my goodies so i could make both ends meet. nevertheless, i see to it that we dressed decently and fed my kids the best meals my money could buy.
